Children offered free screening
A clinic offering free screening and preventative treatments will be held in American Canyon on the 2nd August.
The clinic will run from 9am until 12:30pm and children under the age of 8 and those with special needs who are under the age of 14 will be invited to attend.
The clinic will offer screenings and preventative treatments, including fluoride varnish treatments. Fluoride varnish helps to strengthen the enamel surfaces of the teeth and protect them against dental decay. The screenings will be provided by the Paediatric Dental Initiative of Windsor.
The clinic will be held at the American Canyon Family Resource Centre; people who want an appointment are advised to contact the centre directly.
