i had 2 teeth extracted a few weeks ago (one of them was a bottom wisdom tooth) anyway my bottom jaw (where i had them removed) is very swollen and painful after these weeks, the sockets are bleeding and i’m due to see my dentist tomorrow but just wondered if it may be infected? If this is the case what can be done? i’m worried that i’m going to lose bone.

You should not lose bone. The dentist you will be seeing likely will treat this with a medication that will resolve your problem.
