Why would my dental crown be causing bad breath?

Q.
One of my front teeth is a crown, but ever since getting it just under a year ago I have had a slight problem with bad breath. Nothing major but I thinkg it is noticeable. Is there anything I can do to stop it?
A.
hi many thanks for your email, the only reason a crown would be giving you bad breathe is if the gum around the crown was not being adequately cleaned and you were not flossing around it. my advice would be to see you dentist and hygiensit and see what they say.

hope this is helpful.
