I have been referred to a dental hygienist but am not exactly sure what it is they do. Obvisouly it is to do with improving oral hygiene but could you give a few more details?

hi many thanks for your email, a hygienist cleans your teeth and gives advice on oral health care. usually called a scale and polish. hope this is helpful.
