Hi, this is just a small enquiry about the types of sedation etc that are used in dentistry. For example would the type of anaesthetic/medication be different for a tooth extraction and a root canal? Also, what are the risks of dental anaesthetic etc used? Thank you.

Iv sedation is always an option. Additionally tablets of certain types of relaxers can be prescribed. Very little risk with dental anesthetics.
