When I smile my gum shows far too much, and covers up some of my front teeth. It really puts me off smiling and has even affected me having relationships. What treatment is there available for this?

Any form of gum re-contouring or gum lift procedure should provide a good solution for this. It may be as simple as using a laser to sculpt the tissue or may be more involved depending on how much tooth is still covered. Generally a Periodontist is the specialist of choice but discuss this with your dentist.
