Q. One of my teeth has been cracked and the dentist has said I can have bonding to mend it up but I am unsure whether this will look all that good. Are there any other options for a crack tooth?

A. There are many options for a cracked tooth depending on the severity of the crack. Bonding, if done with skill, is a very good option and is a simple, inexpensive repair. Other options are a porcelain veneer or crown. Each has its advantages and disadvantages.  Discuss this with your dentist.  Dr. Lemongello
