Q. My dentist has said that I will be able to get immiediate dentures after I get my wholte top teeth removed. This was because of a severe case of gum disease which I am now getting through. Could you please tell me what these are and how they are any different from normal dentures?
A. An immediate denture is placed at the same time the teeth are extracted. This allows the patient not to have to go without teeth.
