Q. A couple ofmy teeth have been chipped in the past few months and I am concerned that it may be down to a case of bulimia. Can you advise on any treatment that can help with this prioblem. It is really worrying me.

A. Most important is to seek treatment for your Bulimia. This can be devastating to your health. Regarding your teeth make sure you are rinsing your mouth out with water as often as possible during any vomiting episodes.  It is important to neutralize the acid as much as possible.  Do not brush your teeth vigorously with tooth paste, this could be too abrasive in combination with the acid environment and cause additional erosion.
