My tooth seems loose after the root canal treatment, what do you suggest I should do?

Q. I’ve just had root canal treatment, the tooth which had the treatment seems really loose since, should i have crown or something placed on this tooth to strengthen it up? what do you think? thanks for any advice

A.

A loose tooth after a root canal treatement can suggest many things.  You could have an infection or possiblly even fracture of the tooth.  It would be advisable to seek another opinion from a speciqlist.

My tooth is cracked, should I get it checked out?

Q. if a tooth is cracked does this automatically mean that you should get it checked out at the dentist and seek treatment. this weekend gone i fell on my face when skateboarding and my tooth looks cracked. there is a chipped bit on it as well. but it doesn;’t hurt so that is making me think i dont need to get any treatment but what would your opinion be please?

A. Definitely get it evaluated…you may be able to prevent more serious problems if you do.
