I’ve chipped one of my front teeth, what can I do to get this fixed?

Q.
Hello, i’ve chipped my front teeth but it’s sort of in one of the gaps of the teeth, it was from eating something and it got caught between my teeth then chipped it somehow. Anyway, i was wondering what can i do to fix this? will it have to be extracted or can it be filled? Thanks

It sounds as if it is small enough to repair.  A dentist would remove a tooth only as a last resort if it couldn’t be saved.  Consult with a dentist regarding your options.  Dr. Lemongello

I have chipped my front teeth after an accident at work. What treatment could help me?

Q.
I have chipped all of my front teeth due to an accident at work. Before I go to the dentist I’d like to know what kind of treatments he can recommend to fix fixed teeth, what are your suggestions? Thank you.
A.

In general there are three choices to restore your fractured teeth depening on the severity.  If it is small “bonding” or composite material can be used.  As the amount of tooth missing increases, restoration with a porcelain veneer or crown is a more predictable option.  Consult with your dentist on what is best for your situation.  Dr. Lemongello

I have chipped my tooth and now there is a hole forming. I am scared to go to the dentist. What will happen?

A year ago my front tooth was chipped through an accident but I have not been to get it checked out. Money problems. Now it is decaying even more and there is what looks like a hole forming. But now because I have left it so long I am scared to go to the dentist. What will happen?

It is normal to be a little fearful of the unknown, however the longer you wait the greater the risk it will get worse.  I recommend you see a dentist as soon as possible.  You may be surprised to find out you just need a tooth colored filling! Dr. Lemongello

Recently a few of my teeth have become chipped. I am worried that this may be connected to something serious? I can’t imagine it is just chance that three have become damaged so closely together? Is there any treatment that can be of assistance to me?
