Q. i had a crown placed a number of years ago, around 15 and it has been great but now it’s very chipped and i’m pretty sure some of my nerve is showing, it was placed because i had an accident and my tooth was broken in half. I guess it’s time to get replaced but i’m looking for a more permanent solution, can you recommend anything?

A. If the tooth is intact, a crown would be the best treatment.
