Q.
Hi, my top set of teeth are mostly rotted and the upper gums bleed too, my bottom teeth seem okay but i’m terrifeid to go to a dentist but i obviously need to. Do you think my dentist would extract all of my rotten teeth? If he does can I have dental implants as I feel I have severe gum disease so the bone might not be strong enough to hold them in. What should i do? please help!

I recommend you consult with a dentist before your condition gets worse. A qualified dentist working with a specialist should be able to manage your care of removing the decayed teeth and providing you with implants or any other type of dentistry you may need. Just because you have gum disease around the decayed teeth doesn’t mean you are not a candidate for implants. The key is the longer you wait the worse it will get and make it more difficult to place implants. Dr. Lemongello
