Hi doc; My question to u is, I have 4 tooth missing from my upperright side and 4 from my upper left side that is from the eye teeth going back. How many implants would it take to replace them. Is it 1 implant per tooth.

The maximum number would be 8 and the minimum number would be 4. In general the more implants placed the better because you are replacing each missing tooth individually. However, sometimes this is not practical due to the amount of bone remaining to support the implants or financial reasons. In this case, implant supported bridges can be placed to reduce the number of implants required. Dr. Lemongello
