Hello, i had a filling placed a few weeks ago and it was a very deep filling my dentist told me if my tooth is still bad i may need a root canal. I’m experiencing severe pain now from this tooth (bottom, back of the mouth) and i think i might need a root canal OR could this just be the filling taking a while to set because it’s quite large? What do you think i should do?

It sounds as though root canal treatment is likely. Don’t wait…it can get worse very quickly.
