Q.
Are there any major health risks involved with receiving dental implants? I know there are risks with the surgery but I mean the actual implant? Will I suffer from bone loss or problems with the sedation or allergies, anything like that? I’d like to know a bit before I look into getting 2 dental implants with crowns.

A.
As you are aware there is always some risk. With dental implants the surgery should be performed by a qualified surgeon, using state of the art systems and materials. Dental implants are very predictable with high success rates and very little risk of failure or other complications like you mentioned. Dr. Lemongello
