Are there any major health risks involved with receiving dental implants? I know there are risks with the surgery but I mean the actual implant? Will I suffer from bone loss or problems with the sedation or allergies, anything like that? I’d like to know a bit before I look into getting 2 dental implants with crowns.

As you are aware there is always some risk. With dental implants the surgery should be performed by a qualified surgeon, using state of the art systems and materials.
