Can I have surgery to fix facial aesthetics?

Q.
Hi the aesthetics of my face don’t look too great. I had several bottom teeth (right hand side) removed last year because of bad gum disease and now it looks like my face has fallen down on one side, can I do anything about this? have any surgery? what do you think? Thanks
A.
Your teeth and jaw bone support your face.  Remember those pictures of grandma without her teeth? She looked that way because she had no teeth.  I recommend you consult with a dentist to replace the missing teeth and this will give back support to your face.  Dr. Lemongello
