Q. Can you please tell me what treatment there is for a tooth that feels loose and is discoloured? Price ranges wqould also be welcomed.
A. The treatment and cost will be dictated by determining why the tooth is loose. If there is bone loss around it, it may need to be extracted. This would require a bridge or an implant to replace it.

Q. I had a dental bridge put in only two days ago and since I have been in a heall of alot of pain. I was not expecting this tro happen with this treatment. Is this normal or is something wrong?
A.
Having a bridge placed should not cause pain. I would discuss this with your doctor and have it evaluated. Dr. Lemongello

Q. What would you say is a reasonable price for two dental implants Dr Lerner and Dr Lemengello. My dentist has given me an estimate but I would like to see if I am being ripper off or something. Thanks in advance
A. The fee for implant dentistry varies depending on the implant system used, whether the doctor performing the procedures is a qualified specialist and the area being restored. Implants replacing front teeth may cost more than replacing a back tooth. It also varies depending on where you live. Because the fee can vary greatly I would do some research in your area among qualified specialists to see what the approximate cost for this treatment would be.

Q. Do you have any tips for flossing. This is something I am new to and it takes me forever to do each morning as I just can’t get to grips with it. Is there some special technique I am missing here? Thank you for your time and hope you can help.
A. Your dentist or hygienst should be able to help you through this….technique is important to be thorough and for it to be easy.

Q. How much drs would you say it would cost to have all my teeth veneered? i ask because my teeth are crooked but i do not want to have braces or whatever and want quick results. thankyous
A. Most people do not need all their teeth veneered. The cost is dependent on how many teeth are treated. The cost will vary greatly with what is being done, who is performing it and where you are in the country making it impossible to guide you.

Q. I hate the dentist (doesn’t everbody) but I am in desperate need of treatment. The thing is I can’t eve stand to have my teeth examined before even going on to real treatment. Will I be able to be sedated for this to be done or is this not possible?
A. You are on your way to having to see the dentist whether you want or not……avoidance is the best way to have problems and for it to cost alot. Sedation is always available and is advised for dental phobia.

Q. Is there any difference between veneers and lumineers or are they basically one and the same? i need something to cover crooked front teeth but dont want braces which is whuy i ask.
A. There is little difference in that veneers and Lumineers are both made of porcelain and share the technique of being minimally invasive. However, traditional porcelain veneers fabricated by a skilled technician are much more artistically crafted in regards to beauty and natural appearance.

Q. How much does a complete denture cost for the whole upper teeth? The cost of the removal of five other teeth may need to be included as well.
A. To answer this, requires a visit to the dentist. Many things can enter into the cost of treatment in the design of a denture.

Q. From looking about i have noticed that several dentist seem to offer teeth whitening treatment as part of other treatments. why is this? i thought teeth whitening was supposed to be a relatively expensive treatment so how are dentists able to offer it free with other treatments. also, i just want to get it done the one time and dont want follow ups or to have to do it at home so which one would you say on that basis is best for me please drs.
A.
All in office whitening systems are similar with similar results. Whitening however can be unpredictable. You can have your teeth whitened one time but that may not be enough to achieve the best result. Also, without follow up of some kind the whitening effect will diminish over time which is why we recommend follow up. The choice is up to you.
