Q. Hi Doctor, I Have a sixteen year old patient who lost his central incisor due to trauma so i need to give a provisional bridge something like a resin maryland bridge(composite wings instead of metal wings).. so needed to know the way of fabrication if it was possible to make it in the clinic. Thank you
A. hi many thanks you could just build the whole area up with composite including the wing areas. it may not last forever but with a good bonding technique i think it would be a good provisional option. hope this is helpful.

Q. Would you recommend treatment such as invisalign over something like lunmineers? is it better to keep your own teeth or does that not really matter?
A. hi many thanks for your email, my advice would be to try to keep your teeth, so i would always recommend orthodontics over veneers.

Q. I want to get a dental implant and am all set for a consultation but could you please tell me what criteria will decide if I am suitable for it?
A. Dental implants depend on appropriate bone as a foundation. There are very few situations where a dental implant is not indicated. Consult with the dentist performing the surgery.

A. the main treatment options for a gummy smile is:
1:crown lengthening, lifting the gum up.

Q. I have an overbite and was considering lingual braces, but would like your opinion on which braces system is best for fixing this problem? I have heard invisalign can be quite limited in its treatment and I don’t particularly want to get metal braces?
A. hi many thanks for your email, invisalign can treatment varied cases but for more complexed treatment fixed braces either lingual or standard braces would be more suitable. you can now get white braces which help to make the treatment more decreet. hope this is helpful.

Q. I have been unable to go to the dentist in about four years now. Just the idea of going to the place has me in a state as I am just so scared of the place. I even hate walking past the place. I used to force myself to go but my dentist just didn’t understand how fearful I was about the whole thing. Could you offer me any advice as to how I can get through this problem?
A. hi many thanks for your email, the main thing would be to go for a first appointment and try to build a relationship. the treatment could be done under IV sedation. hope this is helpful.

Q. I have been told that one of my teeth has tooth decay and that I will need some treatment to help make sure it does not get any worse. What I would like to know is what the difference between tooth decay and a cavity? or are they just the same?
A. hi many thanks for your email, decay is bacteria eating away at the hard tooth tissue makingit soft and brown. a cavity is a decayed area of tooth which then turns into a hole.
